Our Story

Saarnik started with two BBA students from Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, Mansi Kapri and Samar Khan.

The idea came to us during an internship with a company that worked with organic products. We met people who genuinely cared about what they were eating. They wanted clean, good-quality food, but we also noticed something that stayed with us: for many people, eating better came with a price that was simply too high.

We had started businesses before, so starting another one wasn't something completely new for us. But this time, we had seen a need. We wanted to do something about it.

That is how Saarnik began.

For us, good food starts with knowing where it comes from. So instead of looking for everything in one place, we started looking across India for products from the regions they are known for.

Our millets come from Uttarakhand and Central India. Our Kashmiri Mamra almonds and Acacia Honey come from Kashmir. Our raw honey comes from Uttarakhand, while our cold-pressed extra virgin coconut oil comes from Tamil Nadu.

We then work with our manufacturing partners to turn these carefully sourced ingredients into the products you see under Saarnik Naturals.

We don't want "natural" or "healthy" to just be words written on a packet. We want to know what goes into our products, where it comes from, and whether we would be happy to put it on our own table.

That is also what the name Saarnik means to us.

The name was inspired by "Sarni", a word associated with a path or a way. For us, it represents the path we want to create towards food that is closer to its source, thoughtfully chosen, and accessible to more people.

We are still learning, still figuring things out, and still growing.

But every product we put our name on carries the same reason we started: we believe good food should not feel out of reach.

So when you pick up a Saarnik product, we hope you don't just know what is inside the packet.

We hope you know a little about the people who chose it, the places it came from, and the reason we decided to bring it to you.
